What is Corporate Venturing
Corporate Venturing is a new hybrid innovation model. It combines the research actions of companies with the best of the current ecosystem of entrepreneurs and startups.
This method aims to promote an open innovation system and is in line with the current trend of Open Innovation, through which companies seek innovation and talent, both within and outside their organizations.
Objectives of Corporate Venturing
The main objectives of a Corporate Venturing strategy are:

About the Pharmacist’s Career
The pharmacist’s profession was regulated in 1931. To practice it, you must have a university degree and be registered with the Regional Council of Pharmacy of the state where you work. It is very important that the diploma for a university degree in Pharmacy is recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC). Only then will it be possible to obtain professional registration.

The market for pharmacists in Brazil is favorable and expanding. In addition to clinics, laboratories, research institutes, universities, public agencies and industry, pharmacists have a series of new possibilities for action. An article published in Exame magazine about promising careers in the pharmaceutical sector highlights six new positions with good pay:
- Public Market Access Manager: handles bids and can win up to R$25,000.
- Private Market Access Manager: mediates the relationship between the pharmaceutical industry and private health establishments (hospitals, insurance companies, etc.). Salaries of up to R$25 thousand.
- Pharmaeconomics Manager: studies the economic and social impacts of drug treatments and can earn up to R$ 10,000.
- Medical Science Liasion (MSL): liaises with health opinion makers to exchange information on pharmaceutical studies and research prior to drug launches. Earn up to R$ 18 thousand.
- Medical Education Manager: advises physicians on the use of complex medications. You can earn up to R$ 20 thousand.
- NGO Manager: advises non-governmental organizations on treatment options. Salaries of up to R$ 15 thousand.
Due to the large number of new drugs launched every year and changes in legislation, the practice of the pharmacist profession, regardless of its area of expertise, requires constant training and updates. Congresses, seminars and specialization courses are essential to achieve and maintain a good position in the labor market.
According to the Federal Council of Pharmacy (CFF), there are about 67 thousand pharmacists active in the country, and more than 97 thousand establishments such as pharmacies and drugstores. Also according to the CFF, every year 8,000 new pharmacy professionals graduate in Brazil.

Psychiatrist’s Minimum Professional Salary
Psychiatrists do not have a professional minimum wage or a single wage floor valid throughout the country.
A bill (2750/2011) in progress in the Chamber of Deputies seeks to set the salary floor of doctors at R$ 9,000, with annual adjustments. This project intends to transform Law No. 3999, of December 15, 1961, which established the salary floor for medical professionals, including Psychiatrists, in three minimum wages for a 20-hour workweek. This Law has been in effect for almost 60 years!
On the other hand, the National Federation of Physicians (Fenam) recommends a salary almost five times higher than that established by law: R$ 14,134 for 20 hours of work per week. This value currently serves to guide collective agreements and negotiations of the category by unions and try to reduce the salary inequalities of doctors in different regions of the country.

About a career in Interior Design
There is a bill in progress to regulate the activity of interior designers, PL 4692/12. The purpose of this bill is to define that the profession of interior design is exercised by those who have qualifications in the area (bachelor, technologist, technician or professionals with a higher degree in related courses who have been engaged in the activity for at least two years).
As the profession of interior design is not regulated, there is no legal obligation to have a diploma to work in the area. However, investing in training courses, whether at a technical level, improvement, or higher education, increases the chances of getting and keeping a good job in the area.
In Brazil, there are 96 interior design courses authorized by the MEC: 90 technological, 2 sequential and 4 bachelor’s degrees. There are also technical-level interior design courses.
